Police were called to an address in Casino after reports of alleged domestic violence at 1.45pm yesterday, Wednesday, July 10.
Officers were told a 34 year old man and a four year old girl were allegedly assaulted by a woman about 4am on the same day at an address in Goonellabah.
The man and the girl left Goonellabah after the alleged assault and the girl was taken to Casino Hospital for treatment of facial injuries.
The man was also taken to the same hospital because of injuries to his hand.
Following inquiries, police arrested a 27 year old woman at a house on McDermott Avenue, Goonellabah, at 6.30pm.
The woman was taken to Lismore Police Station where she was charged with two counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm (DV) and stalking, intimidating and physical harm.
She was refused bail to appear at Lismore Local Court today, Thursday, July 11.
Police believe the man and woman are known to each other.
