Would you like Santa to visit you on a fire truck?

The Casino RFS was originally based at Yorklea and it is a main area still covered by the brigade, now based at Casino.

Because of this history, the RFS crew are thinking about doing a Santa Run in Yorklea this year.

“Being a rural area with lots of properties built back from the road we are trying to find out if people are interested in us doing it and happy to bring their kids down to the roads. It would be a Saturday or Sunday afternoon,” the RFS said.

The area covered would Summerland Way to Crawfords Rd, Ellangowan Rd to Sandy Creek Bridge, Johnsons Rd, Marks Rd, Ryans Rd,  Imersons Rd, Wrenches Rd, Pennyfathers Estate, Fogwells Rd and all others leading off it.

If there is enough interest, the crew will set a time, date and the route for Santa’s visit to Yorklea.
