The yarding of young cattle consisted mainly of weaners and vealers and a small number of yearlings.
Quality was mixed with increased numbers of plain-conditioned cattle, and there was a larger percentage of light young cattle offered, however there were several lines of well bred cattle through the sale.
The market started easier, and strengthened as the sale progressed to be firm to 10c/kg dearer.
Restockers buyers from northern and western NSW and Queensland acquired most of the young cattle.

Grown heifers sold from 276c to 324c/kg for crop-finished heifers.
There were several pens of cows with well finished 3 and 4 scores, and there was a large percentage of light plain conditioned cows offered, reflecting the harsh winter conditions.
