Yarding of 1830 at NRLX cattle sales

Casino penned similar numbers to last week with a yarding of 1830 mixed cattle at the NRLX today, Wednesday, July 1. 

The regular buyers attended and included two extra backgrounders from Dubbo. 

This extra competition pushed weaner background buyers to operate in a much dearer market. 

Prime cows were slightly cheaper most other grades to firm trends.

Light weaner steers to background 348c to 606c/kg similar feeders 514c to 550c/kg. 

Light weaner heifers to background 400c to 506c/kg.

Yearling steers to feed ranged 384c to 516c/kg. 

Heavy yearling steers to process 392c  to 420c/kg. 

Medium heifers to background and feed 378c to 400c/kg.

Grown steers to process 340c to 428c/kg similar heifers 260c to 362c/kg. 

Grown heifers to feed 355c to 380c/kg. 

Restocker cows 255c to 380c/kg. 

Three score cows to process 344c to 381c/kg two scores 255c to 380c/kg. 

Heavy bulls much dearer 386c to 420c/kg.
