Betty O’Keefe has been organising a Cancer Council Biggest Morning for the past four years – two of those years at Coraki Public School.

On Tuesday, June 3, Betty held the cancer fundraiser and raised $1036 at the morning tea, and $292 online bringing the total raised to $1328.

On the day, there was a line of items donated by local businesses and it seemed to stretch forever.

Betty said there were more than 50 prizes donated.

“There are too many businesses to thank but I would like to thank all the businesses that donated as a collective,” Betty said.

“I would also like to thank Russell O’Keefe, Tracey and Jemarl Winkler, Debbie McGillan and the staff of Coraki Public School for all their efforts on the day and leading up to it to make it a success.”

Tracy Winkler won the baking competition with her rainbow cake.
