Indy editor Susanna Freymark will be reading from her new book SMOKE at 10.30am in Woodburn tomorrow, Wednesday, May 13.

Susanna will be at Hemlocks Books & Coffee for this free event.

SMOKE is out now.

SMOKE will be on sale – there is no obligation to buy a copy, you may just feel like being read to – something we don’t often get to do once we’re adults.

Pop in to the bookshop on River Street (opposite the children’s playground) and get yourself a coffee and enjoy hearing about the writing process and the publishing of these eight short stories.

SMOKE was launched at Kyogle Library on Friday, May 8.

If you are unable to make it to Hemlocks you can the paperback from here or for an ebook go here.

In other Hemlocks news, owner Candice McLaughlin has designed a new website for the little bookshop by the river — Hemlock’s online store is now live.

Customers can browse and order freshly packed Hemlock’s coffee beans, vintage and collectible books, vouchers and keep up to date with events such as the SMOKE reading

“Everything is designed to feel just like stepping into Hemlock’s – warm, simple, and rooted in our Northern Rivers community,” Candice said.
