Site visit: Improving riverbanks for fish habitat

Kyogle Landcare Inc are running a field day out at Horseshoe Creek to showcase their efforts improving riparain zones for fish habitat.

The group will visit three sites to demonstrate the progression from weed infestation to good quality restoration.

We will be joined by someone from Richmond River Chapter – OzFish Unlimited as well as local bush regener Peter Stone to talk about controlling madeira vine.

This event is supported by the DPI Recreational Fishing Trust through the Habitat Action Grants.
