Whiddon Kyogle resident Leila Summers will celebrate her 100th birthday on Thursday, July 25.
Leila joined the Whiddon Kyogle community in 2022.
She is proud mother of three – Sue, 77, Jenny, 73 and John, 63 – and grandmother to seven.
Leila said her secret to a long and happy life is “country living and simple foods.”
Her favourite decade? The 1960s – when she had her whole young family and her husband Jack by her side
Leila enjoys the activities at Whiddon and gentle walks.
Her birthday wishes this year are simple but meaningful: peace.
