Kim Clark took this footage at Horse Station Creek.

Residents were stunned to see (very) low flying aircraft in the sky today, Tuesday, April 29.

Kim Clark took the above footage of the jets flying over Horse Station Creek in Kyogle LGA.

The Department of  Defence said the low flying aircraft was part of Exercise Global Dexterity around RAAF Base Amberley, Richmond, RAAF Base Darwin and RAAF Base Townsville.

Up to four C-17A Globemaster III aircraft from the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) and United States Pacific Air Forces (PACAF) are conducting training flights in the region.

The four C-17A Globemaster III aircraft will be training until May 10.

This activity is subject to variables including weather and operational availability of aircraft, and as could be delayed or cancelled with little notice.
