A Ballina woman has won $100 million in a Powerball win.

She held the only division one winning entry nationally in the Powerball draw on Thursday, October 15.

She now shares the title of Australia’s third biggest lottery winner ever.

The woman’s 12-game QuickPick entry, worth $18.90, was purchased online.

“What the f**k! I’m still in shock. No, this can’t be happening!” the winner screamed alongside her family when Lotteries contacted her immediately after the draw.

I can’t believe this!

“Oh my god! I am sitting here with my entire family. I love that I’m around them right now sharing this moment with them!

“We recently had a death in the family, and I think it’s a sign from them; they’re so looking after me. We’ve had signs all day from them; things moving, cans moving, bags waving in the wind.”

As the enormity of the news sank in, the woman’s family erupted into screams of disbelief and celebration while on the phone to Lotteries.

“We’ve just won the $100 million! F**king hell! We’ve won the $100 million!” another family member screamed.

“We’ve just woken up everyone else who were asleep. They’re not sleeping anymore.”

Despite the endless possibilities offered by her $100 million win, the new multi-millionaire had a few simple plans in mind.

“This will help a lot of people. Not just me but lots of family members,” she shared.

“I’ll be able to pay off my mortgage.

“Now we have to see how we’re going to get the Moët delivered!

“I’ll be celebrating with breakfast in bed tomorrow – scrambled eggs and bacon for me!”
