Essential Energy said a power outage affecting about 3710 customers in Kyogle and the surrounding area occurred on Friday, December 19 at 7:45pm due to a fault on the network.
Crews repaired the fault and power was restored just after midnight.

More than 3700 Essential Energy customers are without power in Kyogle and an extensive area around Kyogle, as far north as Cougal and Dairy Flat.
The outage happened at about 7.45pm today, Friday, December 19 according to Essential Energy’s website here.
Essential Energy said damaged equipment has caused the outage.
