It’s a long weekend because of the Labour Day holiday. And remember the clocks go forward for daylight saving this Sunday, October 4. Put the clock foward before you go to bed on Saturday night. Yes, you lose an hour of sleep.
Kyogle Public Swimming pool opens this Saturday. Bonalbo and Woodenbong Pools are expected to open the end of next week.
Casino Swimming Pool opens on Saturday too and with a predicted temperature of 29C, what could be better than a swim?
Today, Friday, October 2, head to the Evans Head Farmers Market next to the surf club. Or on Saturday, do your shopping for fresh produce at Kyogle or Casino farmers markets.
