Teen flown to hospital after car rolls at East Coraki

Woodburn RFS and Fire and Rescue Coraki units attended a crash on Wyrallah Road, East Coraki at 8.45am today, Sunday, August 30.

A car had rolled. Two people were in the car – the driver was aged 17 and the passenger was a 19 year old man.

The female driver undertook a roadside breath test, which showed a negative result, police said.

The driver had a neck injury and suspected spinal injury and was flown to Gold Coast University Hospital by the Westpac Rescue Helicopter.

The man was taken by ambulance to Lismore Base Hospital.
