All the regular buyers attended. The market for the bullocks and prime cows was similar to last week’s sale, with the 2 score cows slightly stronger as were the better end of the vealers and yearlings.
Vealer steers under 200kg sold from 320c to 606c/kg to restockers.
Vealer steers 200 to 280kg made from 300c to 622c/kg for the better lines.
Vealer steers 280 to 330kg however lost ground and made to 491c/kg to restockers.
Vealer heifers under 200kg sold from 230c for the plainer pens and to 476c/kg for the better lines.
