28 stalls at first Eden Creek Hall market in May

Every year, the Eden Creek Hall committee meets to plan the year’s events.

There have been many community events at the hall including Australia Day cricket match, Xmas in July, trivia night, the carp muster and an end of year Christmas party.

This year, the committee announced that they would be hosting an Eden Creek Hall market four times a year.

The first one is on Sunday, May 3.

The hall at Eden Creek is a beautiful and peaceful setting for any event and the markets will help fundraise for improvements to the hall. This will come from the $20 donation from each smallholder.

The first market on May 3 already has 28 stall holders so market goers can expect a range of goods — handmade bush furniture, felt heart brooches, fresh coffee, biscuits and lemonade stall, jams and chutneys, meat, tarot readings, art prints, wrought iron craft, plants and flowers, jewellery and embodied baby clothes.

Committee member Viv Palosaari said the response had been astounding for the managing committee.

“We are now very eager to get the word out to all the community to come along and support our wonderful stalls holders,” Viv said.

“Definitely a great last chance to buy your mother a lovely gift for Mother’s Day the following weekend.”
