At about 2am today, Monday, April 27, police tried to stop a car at the intersection of Centre and Rayner Streets in Casino.
When the car failed to stop as directed, a chase began.
The chase continued along Centre Street before the car turned onto various streets, including Hare, West, McElroy, Walker and Light streets before returning to Centre Street.
Road spikes were deployed at the intersection of Hotham Street and Queensland Road.
The car chase was terminated on Oak Avenue.
At about 2.30am, the car was found abandoned on Laburnum Avenue.
