There has been a crash involving several cars east of Casino in Irvington between Auckrams and Shielers roads at about 5pm today, Thursday, May 11.
The Bruxner Highway is closed in both directions and is expected to remain so for some time.
Detours are in place.
Light vehicles can use East St, Spring Grove Rd and Caniaba Rd instead.
Heavy vehicles can use East St, Spring Grove Rd, Naughtons Gap Rd, Manifold Rd, Bentley Rd and Kyogle Rd.
There are other incidents in the area causing traffic problems.
The double bridges at Tatham have long lines of banked traffic because of bridge damage. A resident contacted us and said the traffic has eased. This was at 7.15pm.
Ellangowan Rd near Fogwells Rd, Yorklea is open but care is needed.
