Car crashes into tree on Bruxner Highway

There was a car crash on the Bruxner Highway at Woodview at 2.15pm today, Friday, June 30.

The Casino Rescue Squad was called to the crash to remove part of the car to get a seriously injured patient out.

When they arrived a crew member said they saw the car had crashed into a tree. There were L plates on the car.

The rescue squad worked with Casino Fire Brigade to remove a rear door and pillar to make room to get the patient out.

The RFS were nearby in case of fire.

Two patients were taken to Lismore Base Hospital, one was a female teenager with leg injuries and a man in his 50s with chest injuries
