Kyogle RFS and Green Pigeon RFS units were called to a car on fire on Green Pigeon Rd, Horseshoe Creek at 5.30pm today, Thursday, October 12.
It is believed the car had been involved in a prang in Casino about 3.30pm and was then driven out to Green Pigeon Rd.
Crews extinguished the fire engulfing the car and spots on the side of the road.
Police dragged the car off the road.
Fire crews returned to stations by 7pm.
