The rally is coming back to Bonalbo.

The Gold Coast Tweed Motorsporting Club held a car rally in Bonalbo in 2019.

President Mark Davies said the club was coming back in October because they had such a good time in Bonalbo.

The Working Dog Rally is planned for October 6 and an application is before Kyogle Council to conduct the rally.

It’s a large crew that rolls into town when there is a rally on. There is a team of volunteers of about 150. Then there are the competitors — with 50 cars in the rally and the teams driving them, that’s a lot of people in town.

The club hosts a dinner and donates funds to community groups such as the RFS and CWA.

Club member Sue Richardson said they needed some community volunteers on the rally day.
