Car rolls down driveway and crashes into house

Casino Rescue Squad was called to a crash scene today, Saturday, April 9 at 12.50pm at Fairway Drive in Casino with reports people were trapped.

When they arrived, paramedics were treating one person and another person was trapped within the internal wall of a house after a car rolled down a driveway.

Rescue crews cut away parts of the dry wall and removed other objects to remove the trapped person.

Crews continued to assist paramedics with the patient.

Two people were transported to hospital with a range of injuries.

Casino Rescue Squad said it was a “very technical job”.

Richmond Police District were also at the scene.
