For those joining in Run Casino tomorrow, Sunday, September 20, organisers have moved all race start times one hour earlier to help participants beat the forecast heat.
The new race start times are:
21.1km – 7.00am
10km – 7.20am
5km – 8.30am
2km – 9.30am
There will a Lions Club barbecue, coffee from Wanderers Brew and Serenity Shave Ice at the run starting at the old Casino Railway Station and making use of the Casino to Bentley Rail Trail. View the courses and start times here.
Drivers should be aware of temporary road closures and controlled access in place during the event.
Road closures include:
• Dyraaba Street: 6.55am-7.10am, 7.15am-7.30am, 8.25am-8.40am, 9.25am-9.40am
• Spring Grove Road: 6.55am-7.10am, 7.15am-7.30am, 8.25am-8.40am, 9.25am-9.40am
• Naughtons Gap Road: Controlled access from 7.30am-11.30am. Please expect delays.
• Mini Railway Carpark closed from 8am Saturday until 4pm Sunday.
Anyone travelling in the area on Sunday morning, allow extra time and follow directions from traffic controllers.
