Deadlines for posting Christmas cards and parcels

Have you posted your Christmas parcels overseas yet?

I hope so because the deadline for parcels to reach their overseas destination has passed.

Australia Post advised that parcels sent overseas from today, Thursday, December 8 may not arrive until after Christmas.

The good news is that the deadline for parcels sent within Australia is December 12. This excludes WA and NT where the deadline was December 7.

That’s four days left to wrap and send Christmas parcels.

If you’re sending a Christmas card within Australia, the postage cost is 65c.

If you’re sending a card within NSW post by Monday, December 19.

For interstate post by Thursday, December 15.
