Rescue crews were called to a car crash at Wyan, near Rappville early this morning.
At 1:15am on Saturday, January 14, Casino Rescue Squad responded to reports of a crash involving one car with a person trapped inside the car.
When the crew arrived at Wyan the car was on its side with the driver trapped.
After stabilising the car, crews used hydraulic rescue equipment to free the driver who was treated by paramedics including the rescue helicopter team before being taken to hospital for further treatment.
Casino Police, Casino RFS and Whiporie RFS were also on the scene.
