Get ready to eat, play and celebrate — Flavour Fest is on this Friday, October 25 at the Casino Drill Hall site at 5pm-8pm.
Earlier this year, the Richmond Valley Council events asked a group of young people to help with Youth Week in April.
Event organiser Kendra Lynch said one of the ideas was an ‘eat-street’ inspired event.
Last year’s Flavour Fest was a hit with the community with feedback saying — do it again.
With Children’s Week coming up on October 19-27 October, it was a good time to hold a second event, Ms Lynch said.
This time there will be more children’s activities with a jumping castle, laser tag and 11 different food trucks.

- Lennox Smokin Barrel
- OMG Donuts
- Serenity Shave Ice

Enjoy live music by Bodhi Acton at 5pm—8pm.
Lennox Street will be closed from Centre Street intersection to West Street intersection for pedestrian safety on the night.
Bring your own camp chairs and picnic rugs — and a big appetite.
