Two free workshops on lumpy skin disease and foot and mouth will be held at the Casino RSM Club tomorrow, Friday, August 26.
Local Land Services staff are hosting the workshops.
Both lumpy skin disease and FMD and are nationally notifiable diseases.
It is critical that livestock owners know what these diseases look like and check their animals regularly.
Any suspect signs must be reported to the Emergency Animal Disease Watch Hotline on 1800 675 888.
The workshops will help producers learn more about the current status of FMD and lumpy skin disease and find out how to identify these diseases.
Register for the workshops at the Casino RSM Club on Friday, August 26. There is a session at 1pm and another at 5pm. The sessions run for about an hour.
