Casino Lions Football Club team is proud of how far they have come in the past few years.

Last year was the club’s first year back playing in a NSW competition after a long break.

Coach Brett Patton and the players pulled together and travelled as far south as Port Macquarie for games.

They were on the bottom of the leader board and managed to rise to the top in the grand final.

Now, pre-season training is about to begin and the Casino Lions are looking for players 18 years and over to join the club for the 2023 season in the AFL North Coast Competition.

Training is on Tuesday afternoon from 6pm at Jubilee Park, Casino.

New and experienced players are welcome to join.

The club wants to hear from any women who would like to play footy to see if there is enough interest for a team.

Volunteers are needed too, email casinolionsafl@gmail.com or go to the club’s Facebook page.
