The CWA Kyogle Evening Branch bids farewell to its president and welcomes back a former president.

Lyn Croft has been president of the Kyogle Evening Branch for the last four years.

Lyn led the branch through some difficult times including covid lockdowns which restricted many CWA activities.

At the 2024 CWA conference, she successfully argued for the CWA of NSW to lobby the Federal Government to lower the age of free bowel cancer screening tests to at least 45 because of the increase in diagnoses at a younger age.

Lyn is the handicraft officer and vice president for the CWA Far North Coast Group.

Lyn was presented with flowers by Odette Nettleton who will take on the role of president.

Odette was president  when the branch was formed in 2015 until 2020.
