Kate Robert is researching her father’s family history.
“He gave me a pile of old photos and documents to scan,” Kate said.
In the pile was a souvenir pictorial booklet of Evans Head from 1955.
“This booklet belongs to my father Chris Hancock,” Kate said.
Kate lives in Ipswich, Queensland.
“We have extended family in Evans Head and this was sent to his grandmother when he was on a holiday with his family,” Kate said.
“Once his grandmother passed away some of her belongings stayed in the family.”
