The beat of the drum was back at the Anzac Day March in Kyogle.
Kyogle hasn’t had drums in the march for quite a while, Mia Fowler said.
Yesterday, April 25, 13 year old Fred Fowler was the drummer boy.
His mother Mia said her son was “pumped” to be in the march.

Fred is the grandson of Kyogle RSL Sub Branch secretary Jack McDonough.
Jack said last year Fred decided to lead the march alongside another ‘old bloke’ on the drum.
For six months, Fred has been practicing the drums with Geoff McGuiness (the old bloke).
Straight after the Anzac Day service, Fred had to go and play in the state championship for baseball.
