Casino’s ambulance station building in Centre St is 90 years old and work on a new station will begin soon.
The new station will be built near the Casino & District Memorial Hospital in Canterbury St.

Local building company Bennett Constructions, a Ballina family-operated business, won the contract to build the new ambulance station.
Bennett Constructions also built the Iluka Ambulance Station.
The Casino project includes six ambulance parking bays, offices, relief accommodation, a logistics areas, a wash bay and staff parking.
The State Government has invested $1.4 billion into NSW Ambulance in 2021-22 including $334 million in infrastructure funding.
