Man charged over KFC brawl death

A man has been charged following the death of a youth and the wounding of a man in the KFC car park in Casino on Sunday, May 29.
Emergency services were called to the brawl at the fast-food restaurant on Centre Street, Casino at about 5.10pm.
Officers and paramedics found two men with stab wounds.
A 17-year-old boy died at the scene and an 18-year-old man was taken to Lismore Base Hospital for treatment.
Following inquiries, a man aged 18, was arrested at Casino Police Station at 9.50am yesterday, Wednesday, June 15.
The man was charged with affray and using an offensive weapon with intent to commit an indictable offence.
He has been granted strict conditional bail to appear at Casino Local Court on Wednesday, June 23.
Investigations continue.
