A 61 year old driver has died after his ute crashed at Broadwater at 5.50am today, Monday, August 28.
The Nissan Navara ute was travelling north when it collided with a tree on Broadwater Evans Head Rd.
The male driver and sole occupant of the ute died at the scene.
Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
