Year 11 students from Casino High School brought some Christmas cheer to the Whiddon Nursing Home in Casino yesterday, Thursday, December 15.

The students had been running a gift drive for weeks. Lots of gifts were donated and then wrapped by the students.

The idea of conducting a gift drive came from the students wanting to become more involved in the local community after what has been another difficult year.

At the Whiddon Christmas party, the Casino students gave out gifts to residents of the home.
