Nominate a special senior for an award

Do you know a senior (60+) that you’d like to nominate for a special award?

Nominations for the 2024 NSW Seniors Festival Local Achievements Awards are open.

For seniors living in Richmond Valley and Clarence Valley apply through State MP Richie Williamson. The form is here.

To nominate a senior living in the seat of Lismore (includes Kyogle) contact State MP Janelle Saffin’s office – email lismore@parliament.nsw.gov.au and write SENIORS in the subject line. A form will be sent to you.

The awards celebrate the contributions and achievements of seniors.

“Whether it is your local Country Women’s Association or men’s shed, the driving force behind these and other great volunteer organisations, they are invariably the young at heart,” Mr Williamson said.

To nominate your favourite senior, complete the nomination form by March 1.

Winners of the Local Achievement Awards will be announced at local events hosted around the time of the NSW Seniors Festival which runs March 11–24.

The theme of the festival is Reach Beyond.
