And we’re off – official election campaigns launch today, Sunday, April 13 for the May 3 Federal Election.

11 candidates are running in the electorate of Page – this includes the LGAs of Clarence Valley, Kyogle, Lismore, Richmond Valley, and parts of Ballina Shire and Coffs Harbour – and covers an area of 19,335 square kilometres.

Page electorate covers 19,335 sqkm.

Page is a National Party seat with Kevin Hogan winning in the last federal election by 10.7%.

The Australian Electoral Commission finalised the order of candidates on federal election ballot papers using a blindfold and numbered balls. The randomised system is designed to keep the process fair for all candidates.

Early voting starts next week and can be done at Casino Community & Cultural Centre, 35 Walker St from April 26
