Pedestrian dies after crash at Woodburn

Emergency services were called to Forest Road, Woodburn, after reports that a pedestrian had been hit by a car at 10am today, Sunday, April 14.

On arrival, police were told that a green Toyota ute allegedly collided with a woman.

The pedestrian, 30, was treated by paramedics but she could not be revived. She died at the scene.

The driver of the ute – an 18 year old man – passed a roadside breath test.

The driver is assisting police with their inquiries.
