Kyogle Post Office will be closed from 11am tomorrow, Wednesday, 21st February 21 and will reopen on February 22.
Novia and James Lin who run the post office said the closure was for a technological upgrade.
Novia Lin said Australia Post is upgrading the system at all post office outlets.
“We are the next one tomorrow,” she said.
“All the terminals will be replaced to new POS systems so we won’t be able to do any counter transactions for couple of hours.
“As a result, we will be closing from 11am and available for parcels lodgement and collection only.
Novia and James came to Kyogle from Brisbane in 2022.
Novia previously worked in a bank and James had a job with an airline.
Since they’ve been at the Kyogle Post Office they had the exterior of the building painted in traditional post office colours of red and white.
