The cultural burn at Richmond Park/Jabiru Wetlands on Queensland Road was initially going to happen earlier this month but unfavourable weather has moved the start of burn to tomorrow, Tuesday, August 25.
The burn is expected to continue until Wednesday, August 26.
There could be last minute changes depending on weather conditions on the day.
Queensland Road will be closed to traffic during these days for public safety.
Fire and Rescue NSW and RFS have been notified.
Nearby residents and businesses should take appropriate precautions to minimise smoke entering their premises, particularly in the event of a change in wind direction.
