Rescue helicopter airlifts 57 year old man in trail bike accident

The Westpac Rescue Helicopter flew to Rocky River at 4.50pm on Monday, May 2  after reports of a trail bike accident.

Paramedics and the helicopter critical care medical team met at the Rocky River property where they treated and stabilised a 57-year-old man who had suffered a serious fractured leg after coming off his trail bike and falling awkwardly.

The man was airlifted to Lismore Hospital in a stable condition for further medical treatment.
