It’s been a soggy few days.
Yesterday, December 1, Evans Head had 118.8mm of rain.
Casino saw 70.2mm.
Of concern during the day was the rising waters of the Richmond, Wilsons and Clarence rivers.
This morning the Richmond River at Kyogle was 9.43m and falling.
In Casino the Richmond River was at 9.02 and falling.
The Clarence River in Tabulam is 7.66m and falling.
The Evans River at Tucombil was 1.98 and rising.
Some smaller creeks in Bungawalbin are still rising but are not of a serious concern at the moment.
Rain is expected in the next few days but less of it.

Partly cloudy. The chance of fog inland early this morning. Medium (40%) chance of showers. The chance of a thunderstorm during this afternoon and early evening. Winds southerly 15 to 25 km/h becoming light in the late evening.

Saturday, December 4
Partly cloudy. The chance of morning fog inland. Medium (50%) chance of showers, most likely in the afternoon and evening. The chance of a thunderstorm.
Sunday 5 December
Cloudy. High (80%) chance of showers. The chance of a thunderstorm.
Most of next week is looking wet and with rain falling on already sodden ground that is going to cause problems.
