Salad recall hits Coles with customers warned not to eat certain products because of contamination

The products recalled by Coles

First it was Aldi, now Coles is recalling salad products sold at their supermarkets because of a potential microbial (STEC) contamination.

Coles is recalling Coles Spinach, Coles Family Mix Stir Fry, Coles Spinach and Kale, Coles Spinach and Rocket and Coles Beetslaw sold between Tuesday, March 18 and Thursday, March 27 at Coles supermarkets in Northern NSW with various use by dates (see below):

Coles Spinach 60g and 280g use by 27/03/2025 and 28/03/2025

Coles Family Mix Stir Fry 400g use by 27/03/2025

Coles Spinach and Kale 300g use by 27/03/2025

Coles Spinach and Rocket 120g use by 28/03/2025

Coles Beetslaw 320g use by 27/03/2025

Date sold: Between Tuesday, March 18 and Thursday, March 27

Customers should not eat these products. Food products with microbial contamination may cause illness if consumed. Any customers concerned about their health should seek medical advice.
