A three-bin system starts in the week beginning July 3 in Kyogle LGA.
Residents with a split-bin service will make the switch to the three-bin system.
The bins are green for organics, red for landfill and yellow for recycling.
Kyogle Council staff will be delivering the green and red bins between May 1–14 but do not use these new bins until June 26.
From June 26, your split bin with the yellow lid will become your recycling bin.
Free kitchen caddy bins with liners for organic matter will also be delivered to your home.
After July 3, bin collection will be as follows:
Week 1: Organics GREEN and Landfill RED
Week 2: Organics GREEN and Recycling YELLOW
