To run or not to run, Casino parkrun back on Dec 18

The parkrun event in Queen Elizabeth Park every Saturday morning is a popular event where people can walk or run the 5km track.
Parkrun Australia has put events in NSW on hold until December 15 or when the state reaches 95% vaccination as stated by Premier Dominic Perrottet.

At that point, the state opens to unvaccinated people.

“We will seek to reopen parkrun events as soon as vaccination status is not a contributing factor,” Parkrun Australia confirmed.
The logistics of mandating volunteers to confirm the vaccination status of all participants would be too much, the organisation said.
Casino parkrun have decided not to resume until December 18.
Parkrun events are run by volunteeers and the onus on volunteers to check the vaccination status of every participant is difficult.
