Donations for those impacted by floods continues. The needs have changed over the last two months. Here’s an update from the Coraki, Woodburn and Broadwater hubs.

Coraki residents now need vacuum cleaners, microwaves, heaters, single beds, clothes racks, chests of drawers, lawnmowers, pots and pans, camping tables, carpet, mattresses, hammers, screws, nails, paintbrushes and rollers, scrapers and tarps.

Donations can be taken the youth hall in Bridge St, Coraki.

The Woodburn hub needs all hands-on deck this weekend, Saturday, May 7, to help organise the space.

The volunteer brief starts at 7:45am and there will be a barbecue lunch.

The Woodburn Hub is at McGeary Bros, 9640 Pacific Hwy.

Here’s the latest list of what Woodburn residents need.

The hub is at the Broadwater Hall.

The hall is open 10am-3 pm. Orange Sky laundry is there 9am-12pm.

There is a community ideas board inside the hall.

Starting May 10, people at the hall can register GIVIT requests on behalf of residents of Broadwater, Riley’s Hill and Dungarubba.

Requests for items such as a fridge or washing machine can be submitted.

All your personal information will remain within the local system. All requests are entered into the GIVIT system anonymously.
