There has already been more than average rainfall for October across the region.
According to the Bureau of Meteorology, rainfall for the fortnight of October 11-24 is likely to be above average for northern NSW.
Southeast Queensland is currently experiencing severe storms with BOM predicting the storm could travel into NSW this afternoon.
So more rain is coming today and tomorrow with the weekend looking sunny.
