The weather isn’t going to get much better until Wednesday.

On Tuesday, strong winds and large seas are expected.

The good news is, Thursday is “looking magic for the boaties.”

This weekend, fish on the creeks to get out of the wind.

The tides are dropping this weekend too.

There will be better run up tides in the morning, and fishers can chase the whiting into North Creek.

Use surface lures or worms and yabbies.

The bottom end of Emigrant Creek is worth trying for bream and flathead.

And there are still a few mud crabs in both creeks and the river up as far as Wardell Bridge.

The bass comp is cancelled this weekend for safety. Beaches and offshore fishing are going to be difficult.

The more experienced fishers can try fishing for some mulloway from the break walls.
