When the cupboard is bare: Tuna, Baked Beans with Rice

Debbie Reid brings you this easy to make with few ingredients recipe from the Resourceful Tin Selection


dash of oil or oil drained from the tuna tin

1 small onion

1 crushed garlic clove (if available)

1 tin of baked beans

1 tin of tuna (in oil)

cooked rice

dried chili to serve if desired


 In a pan add the oil and heat then add the onion and garlic for a few minutes till soft.

Add the tin of baked beans then stir in the tin of tuna and cook till heated through.

Serve with cooked rice and sprinkle with dried chili.
