Where will you be? Here’s a listing of local Anzac Day services

Here are the services happening across the region on Anzac Day this Thursday.

Richmond Valley

Casino

Assemble at 5.15am on Canterbury Street at the Casino RSM Club for the march to the Mafeking Lamp for the dawn service at 5.30am.

Assemble at 10am in Graham Place for march at 10.15am to Casino RSM Club for service.

Retreat short service at 4.55pm at the Mafeking Lamp.

Coraki

Assemble at 10am at the Coraki Hotel for the march at 10.30am to cenotaph in Riverside Park for the service.

Peter Pursey will be giving the Anzac Day address at Coraki.

Broadwater

Assemble at 5.30am at the Broadwater Community Hall for a community dawn service and breakfast.

Evans Head

Assemble at 5.20am on Woodburn Street near bus stop. March to Memorial Park for the dawn service to begin at 5.30am. Breakfast served at RSL Club Evans.

For the day service assemble on Park Street at 10am to march at 10.30am and then to Club Evans in McDonald Place .

A bus departs the RSL at 8am for a memorial aerodrome service at 8:15–8:30am.

The bus will then go to the service at the war cemetery at 9:15–9:30am.

The march forms up  at Park St onto Oak St, left onto Woodburn St, down to the RSL Club at 10am.

During this service there will be a flyover by the Amberley Air Force.

Lunch at the club.

Rappville

Dawn service begins at 5.30am at the Anzac Memorial on Nandabah Street.

For the day service assemble at the Rappville Post Office at 10.30am and march to the Anzac Memorial on Nandabah Street for 11am service.

Woodburn

Assemble at 9.45am at the old Woodburn Post Office and march at 10am to the memorial in Riverside Park for a service.

Kyogle LGA

Kyogle

Dawn service at 5.30am at the cenotaph.

At 9.15am assemble for the march in Geneva Street (opposite the Exchange Hotel)

At 9.30am, march through the town centre for the 10am service and wreath laying at cenotaph.

Woodenbong

There is a dawn service at 5.15am at the Woodenbong water tower followed by Gunfire Breakfast.

Assemble for the march at 10.40am (opposite Foodworks) for the 10.45am March to Woodenbong Public Hall for the Anzac Memorial Service at 11am. Guest speakers are Bob Jeffreys and Lindsay Passfield.

At 11.45am march to the Lest We Forget sign for wreath laying ceremony

The Diggers Luncheon is at 12.30pm at the RSL Hall (numbers limited, bookings a must, phone Ros on 6630 5900)

At 4-8pm the Woodenbong RSL sub branch will conduct two-up at the Woodenbong Hotel.

Bonalbo

At 5.30am there is a dawn service at Patrick McNamee Anzac Memorial Park followed by Gunfire Breakfast at the Bonalbo Bowling and Recreation Club.

At 11am there is a service at the Bonalbo Community Hall.

Old Bonalbo

Come to the 9.30am Service at Old Bonalbo Soldiers’ Memorial Hall.

Tabulam

At 10.30 assemble in Clarence Street for the march to Light Horse Memorial

There is the service and wreath laying at the memorial at 11am.

Refreshments at noon at the Tabulam Hotel

Mallanganee

There is a 11am service and wreath laying at Memorial Park.
