Who will be Casino Show’s Young Woman of the Year?

The final judging of the  Young Women competition is happening at the Casino Showgirl Gala Dinner today, Sunday, September 29 at the Casino RSM.

Who will be chosen out of the three entrants? – Kara Porter, Rachael Redman and Charlee Crowley.

Charelle, 23, is a third year apprentice boilermaker specialising in structural and construction work.

“When I’m not working I’m either working my horses, working on my car or hanging out with my friends,” Charlee said.

Kara, 20, is from Woodview and is a full time university student studying education. She is also employed as an Outside School Hours Care educator.

Rachael, 24 is a truck driver for a small family-run business based in Casino.

“I have worked in the industry since 2019, starting off as a mechanic,” Rachael said

“When I’m not at work I’m spending time with friends and family or out doing my part in the community.”

One of these young women will be selected as Casino Show Woman of the Year 2024 and the winner will be announced on Friday, October 11.

Casino Show is on Friday, October 11–Saturday, October 12.

The Official Opening & High Tea for the show is on Friday, October 11 at 5.30pm.

Governor of NSW Margaret Beazley will be at the event.
